Working through difficult emotions… and making better choices

Another contemplation – musing whatever you may want to call it!
Working through difficult emotions – Is having the ability and awareness to sit with these emotions, allowing them to work through you, your body and mind. Whilst doing this, not allowing these emotions, in other words not allowing yourself to become attached to these emotions. Allowing yourself to be an observer of these emotions as they pass through you, not pushing or pulling towards them.
These emotions may be extreme at times, from one end of the spectrum to another. It’s having the ability to sit and become an observer of these emotions until they pass through. Once these emotions pass, and you are able to centre yourself from these emotions, you are able to make choices and decisions from a place of authenticity without having an attachment to these emotions. The mid-point is where awareness truly sits and is a point without polarities, is a place of inner equanimity that cultivates clarity and confidence.
